Craft Fair Photos

Its been a short while since I last blogged.  I've been wanting to blog, but alas with starting the new job, and things getting in the way I haven't made anything to blog about.  However, today I decided to transfer some photo's and video off of my mobile phone and I came across a couple of photos of my hand made goodies on a craft stall we did last year!

We is my neighbour who does Jewellery and me! Since starting to sell my hand sewn goodies, my side of the craft stall has been far more successful, in the past I have sold home made candles, cookies, soaps and bath bombs all with little success.

I don't know why I didn't make sewn items before, and it was only when I started reading the sewing thread on MoneySavingExpert.com that I was inspired to go back to sewing (I used to make clothes and curtains, years ago!).  Now I want to make over the look of the stall, perhaps to a pale blue and cream shabby chic type look....  but I must find the time to do some more sewing and make things to go on the stall.   I am thinking Sunday afternoons.... maybe!

  3. Hi Sarah, I have just been looking at your blog and at your craft fair pictures. Your makes are gorgeous, but I am gobsmacked that you sell things so cheap!! I love everything on your table and if I was at a craft fair and saw your things I would definately buy a chicken, hedgehog, the round pin cushion in sections and a flower. They look amazing, well done. Selling is so hard isn't it, I've been bogged down with my makes but at last sem to be shifting things via ebay at last.

  4. Hi Thanks for your comments, I agree they're too cheap, but people look and say how nice and then walk away. If the prices are low, they tend to buy more. I may add this was a village hall spring fair, where we were competing with bric a brac and tombola's, but I probably break even ish!
