Craft Fair Photos

Its been a short while since I last blogged.  I've been wanting to blog, but alas with starting the new job, and things getting in the way I haven't made anything to blog about.  However, today I decided to transfer some photo's and video off of my mobile phone and I came across a couple of photos of my hand made goodies on a craft stall we did last year!

We is my neighbour who does Jewellery and me! Since starting to sell my hand sewn goodies, my side of the craft stall has been far more successful, in the past I have sold home made candles, cookies, soaps and bath bombs all with little success.

I don't know why I didn't make sewn items before, and it was only when I started reading the sewing thread on MoneySavingExpert.com that I was inspired to go back to sewing (I used to make clothes and curtains, years ago!).  Now I want to make over the look of the stall, perhaps to a pale blue and cream shabby chic type look....  but I must find the time to do some more sewing and make things to go on the stall.   I am thinking Sunday afternoons.... maybe!

60 Posts 40 (ish) Followers and A New Job

This was supposed to be my celebration of making 60 posts (this being the 60th) and having 40 followers. However, I now have 41 follows so its 40 (ish). Its my own fault I should have blogged when I first noticed.

To celebrate this momentous occasion here is a picture of Mia the cat and my daughter!

I'm hoping not to take too long before my next post, but I have started a  new job which is a 9 to 5 type job at the moment. The times may change as it is a bank staff (temporary) job at the local hospital and the times will change according to the department I'm assigned too! I'm currently assigned to the finance department, sorting the post and answering the phone!  I am missing the time spent at home already, and already wishing I had made the most of the time I had to make things, wondering how I am going to fit it all in at the weekend and maybe some in the evenings.  Once I get used to the hours I'm working and settle into a routine, hopefully I will find plenty of time.
