Strawberry Fayre And Even More Peg Bags

Me and my neighbour had a stall today at the Annual Strawberry Fayre. I don't get much time to make stock, but after the success of my recent peg bags, I made a few extra ones to hang on the stall.

Lucky Black Cat

Campervan

Green Beach Hut

Pink Beach Hut

Mauve Cat

The Pink Beach Hut sold has soon as we had set up the stall, to the stall holder next to us.  And then the Camper Van, Green Beach Hut and the Butterfly!  I would have been chuffed to sell 1, so was over the moon to sell 4!

I also sold some other bits and pieces including a needle case, Hanging Heart with a tilda-esq bunny on it and a felt birdie.  I never seem to sell much at these fayres, but I did almost quite well today!

My neighbour sells hand made Jewellery and did very well as usual.

Here's a picture of my half of the stall.

Despite the rain and it drizzled and poured over the afternoon, it was overall, a successful afternoon.

May Fayre at the Local Village Hall

I took part in another Spring Fayre at our local village hall last week.  Alas I didn't sell very much, people love to look and Oooo and Ahhhh over things, but they don't buy!

Heres a couple of pics of my stall!

You can probably just make out my new display stands with all my dangly items on them.  I bought them in a shop which was having a 75% off sale and they were reduced from £24.99 to £6.25 each... bargain!

I'm doing another stall in June at a Strawberry Fayre, I need to make some pocket money things for the kiddies to buy, just to cover the stall fee, then anything else is a bonus! I also want to re-vamp the stall to make it look more vintage looking - IYKWIM! lol.

Even More Crayon Rolls

I made some Crayon Rolls sometime ago here and here, and had sold most of them, in fact I only had 1 left.

I still had some of  the crayon material left, so made another 4 of the delightful pink and blue lined rolls.

This picture is a little tease, from my latest craft Stall!

Craft Fair Photos

Its been a short while since I last blogged.  I've been wanting to blog, but alas with starting the new job, and things getting in the way I haven't made anything to blog about.  However, today I decided to transfer some photo's and video off of my mobile phone and I came across a couple of photos of my hand made goodies on a craft stall we did last year!

We is my neighbour who does Jewellery and me! Since starting to sell my hand sewn goodies, my side of the craft stall has been far more successful, in the past I have sold home made candles, cookies, soaps and bath bombs all with little success.

I don't know why I didn't make sewn items before, and it was only when I started reading the sewing thread on MoneySavingExpert.com that I was inspired to go back to sewing (I used to make clothes and curtains, years ago!).  Now I want to make over the look of the stall, perhaps to a pale blue and cream shabby chic type look....  but I must find the time to do some more sewing and make things to go on the stall.   I am thinking Sunday afternoons.... maybe!
